Day Camp in Hawaii -- eBook Sample ---

Introduction My maiden name, Knoderer, is German for "a person who ties knots." Somehow, that seems appropriate. I'm trained in Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venture. I served as Cub Scout Day Camp Director for two years, and was given the District Award of Merit because my camp came in under budget both years. This book was the program I used for Cub level Scout Day Camp, but it can also be used for Vacation Bible School, after school care or other youth programs. I ran a one-day event for girls using the same type of theme, and organizational methods. The other leaders commented with "Wow! Where'd you get all these great ideas?" Well, why reinvent the wheel? Other groups can use these ideas, too. You’ll just have to modify the program to meet your own needs or requirements. I loved scouting so much that when I was finished being a leader, I took a job doing after school care for Campfire USA for two years. I also worked for the YMCA after school care program and summer camp. I’ve used these ideas in those programs as well. All of these programs divide the children up into groups based upon their age. Likewise, I’ve divided the activities into Lower Level, for grades 1-3, and Upper Level for grades 4-6. Adapt these levels according to the organization you belong to. Keep in mind that girls develop their fine motor skills before youth do. It is my hope that this book will not only make the director’s job a little easier, and the budget a little tighter, but that everyone at your camp tells you it was the best camp they ever went to. Any objections will be ammended in future issues. I understand that each camp will need to make copies of the instructions for each group leader. As long as the copies are not made for sale or published on the internet, it is considered to be a fair use. Published by ebooks-online 2009

Stars Shine Through the Night
Stars Shine After Dark Mona grew up in Hollywood as a child actress. Now in her twenties, she longs for a normal experience and a more mature image. She enrolls in UCLA and meets Tim, the star quarterback for the Bruins. They begin to date, visiting many interesting places around Los Angeles. But someone is leaking stories about them to the tabloids that paint an entirely different version of what is going on. What kind of friend would do that? Everything seems to be going well, until Tim's career is ended by a car crash, and he settles into a routine job selling real estate. He misses the spot light, and becomes jealous of Mona's success. Mona thinks she is being strong by revving up her career, but she still longs for a more normal life, the one she thought she would have with Tim. Tim thinks about leaving, but finally realizes that Mona is the only woman he really wants. They both look at their relationship, and their faith, to make changes, and recapture their love. They both realize that they should strive to be all that they can be, and that there is room in the sky for all of the stars to shine in their own way. In seeking out the truth, Mona also realizes who has been leaking the false rumors. Maybe love forgives all things, but does business? Tastefully written without all the foul language and bedroom antics, this story focuses on the emotions they feel. It received four-star reviews from independent romance reviewers, including "tastefully done, compelling, a real page turner."
